Non-Euclidean First Person Demo
A downloadable game
A prototype created following a concept proposal as part of my studies.
The main goal here was to learn and understand the limits and capabilities of Unity, concerning non-Euclidean geometry, to prove it was possible to achieve.
I used cameras and materials in order to project the image rendered, by these cameras elsewhere in the level, onto planes. I was then able to create the illusion thanks to a teleportation when the player comes into contact, almost seamlessly.
The main problem i faced was the difference of light between the two rooms when teleporting. for example, when the other room is oriented differently with the directional light. My quick fix was to light the scene evenly.
